Startup Sphere Weekly #68

An AI tool for DJs selling for $210,000 🎧

Hey there, welcome back to Startup Sphere.

I’m slowly chipping away at my business intelligence platform, which I can’t wait to share in this newsletter.

I’ve been using mainly Cursor and Clause Code for development, and it’s been super efficient. Especially compared to the old days of manual coding.

If you’re interested in the tool (or a guide on how I use Claude Code), reply to this email and let me know! I’ll hook you up with early access.

Now let’s get into this week’s business rundown ⤵️

Big Idea

Mushroom supplements for biohacking wellness enthusiasts

$1.9M TTM revenue | $247K TTM profit | $7M asking price

The biohacking community is a really passionate and rapidly growing niche. As long as you know where to source the product from (and don’t get sued), this is a booming market. Life Cykel and FreshCap are examples of competitors.

Build, Don’t Buy

AI-generated DJ setlists for time-pressed event planners

$70K TTM revenue | $46K TTM profit | $210K asking price

I’m a big fan of businesses that target specific pain points within a niche audience. This presents a huge time-saving/value-add to DJs. My only concerns are around how you would advertise to the correct audience.

Micro Acquisitions

That’s all for this week, thanks for tuning in! If you have any feedback on the newsletter, don’t hesitate to reply and let me know. I love getting mail 🙂

Till next week ✌️
